Winding Road

 Description

Means the presence of two or more inverse curves in the road.

• They warn the driver of the proximity of a sector with three or more consecutive curves in opposite directions.
• Design speed is 60 km/h or higher, but less than the maximum or operating speed of the road, and provided that the distance between the end of one curve and the beginning of the next is less than 180 meters.

When you see a Winding Road sign, you should:

• Reduce your speed.
• Enter curves in the road at a safe speed.
• Avoid swerving into other lanes when driving around curves. 
• Avoid passing other vehicles. 
• Use swerves to allow vehicles behind you to pass, if necessary.
