 Description

This sign indicates the presence of a road that joins the main road. The thick line shows the main road and the narrow line shows the secondary road where cars must yield.

Some T-intersections have additional YIELD or STOP signs to remind drivers to yield to crossing traffic. These are "signal-controlled intersections" because traffic flow is regulated by these traffic signals.
